Our Family in Boston: Our Week in Michigan

Since Matt had Spring Break last week, we decided to head to Michigan to see my sister and her family. The drive (14 hours) there was a little crazy because of a big snow storm. Luckily my kids are great travelers and we really only had one meltdown (E-man). Coming home was great, although slow because we stopped at Niagara Falls and Hill Cumorah (and about every rest stop between Detroit and Boston).

Once in Michigan there was lots and lots to do. Carrie (my sister) and Seth have five kids, and he is the bishop of their ward. And they have lots of friends. So, needless to say, they are busy. And it really was fun to kind of tag-a-long to everything. Every night we were there, there was something going on. And if there wasn't something planned, we found something. Our days were busy as well, but sometimes they were just busy playing or chatting. Matt laughed at how much Carrie and I could talk and never run out of things to say! The kids had a blast, too. My kids never lacked for attention. Not once. E-man loved being carried around by almost all the cousins. HD had a buddy, Tayden, for the whole week. It was great! And it made my house seem very lonely and boring!! I was sure HD wasn't going to come home with us. Here are a few pictures of our week. (Although there are NONE of me with my sister because we were too busy chasing seven kids around!)

We watched the kids on Saturday night while my sister and her hubbie went to stake confrence. We watched Bolt, ate pizza and popcorn, and had a big pajama party!
